A unique experience within the Okavango and its river systems, beginning in the eastern Moremi Game Reserve where our focus will be on big game inhabiting the fringes of the dry mophane woodland and riverine forests.
Based at our classic private bush camp, we follow the meandering paths of elephant, track lion in the early mornings, marvel at the elusive leopard and view abundant birdlife. In the evenings recount the day’s sightings whilst enjoying the finest bush cuisine.
Mobile boating safari
Our river safari begins on the Boro River, the main vein of the Okavango. Our secluded camp is situated within the heart of this wetland – the breeding grounds for thousands of water fowl and fish. It is here that the swamp lion hunt lechwe and the call of the pels fishing owl haunt the quietness of the surrounding floodlands.
Explore the Okavango’s largest island, Chief’s Island, where huge herds of buffalo, elephant and other spectacular game abound.
Permanent tented camp
The safari heads south to the edge of the Kalahari and the Boteti River. On the high banks of this river is Meno A Kwena, a permanent tented camp. A place of sanctuary for the wildlife that frequent this western corner of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, it is here that the wandering desert dwellers come to drink during their seasonal migrations.
Unwind and enjoy guided walks in the cool of the morning, or relax by the camp pool with its incredible view and tranquil surroundings.
With over 30 years experience, our safaris are planned with considerable attention to detail and environmental sensitivity, with our guests needs in mind.
